Building codes in most countries have a ventilation requirement. In some buildings there is enough natural ventilation from windows — which can have louvers built in — but not always.
We look closely at ventilation as part of our self-storage feasibility study. If there is not enough natural ventilation, you will need to install mechanical ventilation by simply placing fans in strategic locations along the corridors of your self-storage facility.
Using climate control in self-storage buildings by installing air conditioning is becoming increasingly popular.
Especially important if you intend to include wine storage at your self-storage facility as air conditioning is key for this specialty storage. Read more about wine storage >
